“Stranjah” ‘s introduction into the world drum and bass scene has been an explosive one. With a production background spanning over 6 years, his musical curiosity and production abilities have lead him to become one of North America's top producers in a very short time. While his early forays into creating music included house and techno, he soon fell in love with the breakbeat sound and began sculpting a sound of his own.

In 1999, Stranjah made his first big step into the world of drum and bass upon releasing his first demo, gaining the attention of DJ's and record labels all over North America and in the UK. At this time his music caught the attention of L double of Flex Records in the UK. Following this, a deal was signed for a 12-inch release, with another single and 4 track EP to follow. In addition, Stranjah has released music on North American labels Blaydrunner, Vinyl Syndicate, Imperial Recordings, and Gamma Ray Recordings.

Not one to be pigeon-holed, Stranjah is currently developing his production and music knowledge while working on several other projects including Freedom Writers Movement (a hip-hop project), a nu-jazz/broken-beat album, and producing beats and pop music for the asian music market. With heavyweights such as Grooverider, L Double, Randall, Marky and Bailey playing his tracks, there is no doubt that Stranjah will continue striking bass bins and dance floors worldwide.
